USA Hockey and Michigan Amateur Hockey Association are proud to welcome and invite you to the 12th Annual USA Disabled Hockey Festival to be held April 7-10, 2016 in Fraser, Michigan.

The Festival takes place in different parts of the country each year. This year, the Festival will take place at the Fraser Hockeyland Ice Arena located at 34400 Utica Road in Fraser, Michigan which is a suburb of Detroit, Michigan.

The mission of the Festival is to provide a fun and exciting weekend of hockey in a grand event as well as promote and grow disabled hockey throughout the country.

Are you Ready for some FUN?

This year the Disabled Hockey Festival will feature two parties.  The first will be on Friday, April 8th and will be for the Adult Sled, Warrior / Standing Amputee and Blind Hockey divisions.  The second will be on Saturday, April 9th and will be for the Youth Sled, Special and Deaf / Hard of Hearing divisions.

Both parties are from 7:00 p.m. - Midnight and will be held at the Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse (45300 Mound Road, Shelby Township, MI 48317). There will be a lot of fun activities throughout the night including: mini-golf, rock climbing, laser tag, bungee trampoline, basketball, volleyball and a DJ among other things.  There will be food provided throughout the night including hot dogs, hamburgers, potato chips, coleslaw, cookies, water and lemonade.  There will also be a cash bar for the adults.

This is an all inclusive event (expect cash bar) and for players and coaches, these parties will be FREE.  For family friends there will be a small charge of $15 to attend.  You will need a wristband to attend the party and they will only be given out prior to the event.  Wristbands will not be sold/given out at the the door.

If you are planning on attending, please contact your team manager as they must submit a count of attendees no later than April 4th and will receive all wristbands upon team check-in.  For those family and friends that need to pay, they will need to turn their payment into their team manager prior to team check-in.

We hope to see everyone at Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse to celebrate Disabled Hockey and to come together as a collective "Hockey Family" for some good old fashion fun!
