To everyone who participated; HF High School Hockey would like to thank everyone in this years event. We collected over 14 boxes and that equates, according to the marines, to just around $12,000.00 collected. The number of toys were 1023 collected. So 1023 children will receive at least a toy though all your help. The Marine Core thank you for the generosity. HF High School Hockey would like thank the following people: Joe our SIHCA score keeper for singing the National Anthem and narrated all the games. Bob Hoefler who had the hardest job wearing a Santa outfit for 7 hours. Brit Terry, HF Hockey Director who was taking pictures and making sure everything moved smooth all night. Nick Iaciancio, President of the Catholic League and Mount Carmel Hockey Varsity Head Coach for participating this year with Toys for Tots. Lake Central, Wolves, Andrew and Cobras who have been involved every year in this event. This was York, Marist and Mount Carmel's first year. The Marine Core thank you for your contribution. House teams contribution, HF House, Peewee Black (Coach Bergeron), Peewee Red (Coach Ryan), Bantam (Coach Relli & Spratt) and Bantam Arctic Blue (Coach Greg). Even though we were fighting the elements of a snow storm, this turned out to be the best collection yet. HF High School Hockey would like to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
